Slender Spreadwing - Leste élancé
(Lestes rectangularis)

This species can be readily identified with binoculars or the naked eye due to it's extremely long thin abdomen and relatively short wings (wings are only approximately half the length of the abdomen).   Also, the white edge at the tip of each wing is unique to this species among the spreadwings occuring in NB.   The shoulder stripes eventually become greenish-blue as the male matures.
