Welcome OdonataNB, a website dedicated to the Dragonflies and Damselflies that occur in the province of New Brunswick.

This site is a work in progress and there's still a lot more work to do; however, my hope is that this site will be a usefull source of information for anybody wanting to know about and identify the Dragonflies and Damselflies that occur in NB.

My current focus is to try and get as many photographs as possible on the site as this is what will be useful to most people.   I hope to keep adding photos as they become available (either my own or contributions from others). For most species, I hope to eventually include photos of males, females, immatures, tenerals, various colour forms (when applicable) as well as closeup photos of terminal appendages and other diagnostic features for identification.

I want to thank the following people for their contributions to the site:

* Paul Brunelle of the Atlantic Dragonfly Inventory Project (ADIP) for providing me with the vast majority of the data for county records and flight periods for each species.
* All of the people that have submitted records to ADIP over the years since they are the source of all of the ADIP data.
* Denis Doucet for contributing a large number of photos to the site.

Have a look around and if you happen to notice any problems or errors on any of the pages, please feel free to send me an email. Also, if you have photos of odes that you cannot identify, I would be willing to take a look and see if I can help.
